Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2025
Talentlinq (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support.
**Account information:** When you register as an employer, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information.
**Candidate information:** When a candidate completes an interview, we collect their name, email (if provided by the employer), and the video recordings they submit.
**Usage data:** We automatically collect information about how you interact with Talentlinq, including pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform.
**Technical data:** We collect IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies to operate and improve our service.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Talentlinq platform
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (e.g. invitation links, password resets)
- Respond to support requests
- Improve our product through aggregated, anonymised analytics
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Video recordings
Candidate video recordings are stored securely in Supabase Storage. Access is restricted to the employer who created the job listing. Videos are never shared with third parties, made publicly accessible, or used to train AI models.
Videos are deleted automatically according to your plan's retention period (7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter, 90 days on Pro, 1 year on Enterprise). Employers may delete videos earlier at any time.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- **Service providers** necessary to operate the platform (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel), each bound by data processing agreements
- **Law enforcement or regulatory bodies** when required by applicable law
- **Acquirers** in the event of a merger or acquisition, where you will be notified in advance
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records, which are kept for 7 years).
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@talentlinq.io.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the platform (e.g. session management) and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some features from working.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and role-based access controls. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. Children
Talentlinq is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have done so, please contact us immediately and we will delete that data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered employers by email and post the updated policy on this page at least 14 days before changes take effect.
